Parent's Day at Preschool

Thursday Parent's Day at preschool.  I have no idea where the year has gone, but I do know that it has gone way too quickly.  Mike couldn't make it because he had a mandatory meeting in Baraboo.  The show was pretty cute.  They sang the songs that they learned every week...A to Z.  I could even hear Ryan singing a few times.  He really got into it, it was pretty adorable!  I always ask him which his favorite song is and he tells me that he can't remember them.  Now I know that he was just kidding.  He seemed to know them all and even sang some once we got home.

As if Ryan basically graduating from preschool wasn't enough, we had kindergarten screening the next day.   I didn't tell Ryan about it until the morning of, and he wasn't too happy.  He pulled it together when it was time to go and seemed okay when we walked into school.  He perked up even more when he saw Willy from his preschool.  He did really well and I did too.  I wanted to scream and say "NO KINDERGARTEN for us...homeschool it is" and run out of the building, but I didn't.  I just love the time that I have with him during the day.  I am going to miss him tons (probably even more than that).  I am so incredibly lucky to be a stay at home mom, I am so grateful for all of the days we have had together.  I just feel like I blinked and he is 5.
